FRANCINE CLAUDELLE FRANKFRANCINE CLAUDELLE FRANK
Francine Claudelle Frank died on February 19th, 2013 in the comfort of her home, joining the light that shines down on us with everlasting love, friendship, compassion, peace and a smile. She was born on December 4th, 1963 in Honolulu, HI to Kiana Ka'ahanui and Franklin Phillips and is the oldest of seven siblings. She graduated from Kaiser High School in 1981. Fran spent her life caring for her kids, her family, friends and her community. She was an active member of the Kamehameha ohana and was a loved and valued employee. She lived a pono life and was the embodiment of aloha, hope and inspiration. After an epic battle with cancer she passed in peace surrounded by the loves of her life: her babies Kiana Frank (KS '04), Kainoa Frank (KS '08), Keoni and Kalae Frank (KS '11), and her husband Stephen Frank (KS '80). A celebration of Francine's life will be held on Sunday March 10th, at 1:00pm at Kamehameha Schools Chapel (visitation from 12:00pm). Fran requested aloha attire (she said no black unless that's all you own). In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests live potted plants of Fran's favorites (orchid, anthurium, ginger, ti leaf, pakalana, etc) to plant in her family garden in her honor.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
