WALLACE PERRY VIERRAWALLACE PERRY VIERRA
Wallace was born on May 27, 1925. He was the second son of Mary Perry Vierra and Manuel Vierra. The Vierra family lived in Pu'unui. He joined the Army at the young age of seventeen. After getting out of the Army, he went to work at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a ship fitter. He retired after 35 years of service. Wally bought a home in Makakilo where he lived most of his adult life. Uncle Wally was a kind, loving and generous person who touched the lives of many. He was like a second father to all of his nieces and nephews and will always be remembered. He is survived by his nieces Marie Paulino, Roberta Mejia, Wallis Freitas, Kathy Smith and Joddy Manuwai and nephews, Victor Vierra and Robert F. Vierra, Jr. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Nani Vierra and hanai niece Renee Kawelo. A celebration of life is planned for March 30, 2013 at Hawaii Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation at 9:00 and service at 10:00. Lunch to follow. Scattering of ashes to be done at a later date.
