Joe Vargas, 62, of Maili, a Tajiri Lumber employee and owner of Joe's Place, died in St. Francis Hospice-West. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is survived by son Joey Silva, daughter Joni Vargas-Silva Tulba, brothers Fausto and George, sister Nena Gonzales and three grandchildren. Private services.
