YVONNE KUULEI PABLOYVONNE KUULEI PABLO
Yvonne Kuulei Pablo,78, beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12 in Port Orchard, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband of 53 years, Laureto R. Pablo. Born September 21, 1931 in Honolulu, Yvonne lived most of her life in Kaneohe. She moved to Washington State in December 2007 to be near her daughters and their families.
She graduated from Farrington High School and Cannon Business College in Honolulu, and worked as a bookkeeper and credit manager for several retail businesses on Oahu. Yvonne was an avid Mah Jong player, a beautiful hula dancer, and passionate college and pro football fan. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining family and friends, and most of all--spending time with her five grandchildren.
Yvonne is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Deborah and Thomas Horn of Bremerton, WA and Sharon and Gregory Weathers of Port Orchard, WA; grandchildren Tracy, TJ and Travis Horn and Todd and Meghan Weathers; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Memorial services: 9:30 a.m. Committal services at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe at 11:00 a.m.
