72Oliver Haanio Sr., 78, of Keauhou, Hawaii, a retired Hawaiian Western Steel worker, coffee farmer and fisherman, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Keauhou, Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shirley; sons Oliver Jr., Charles and Eric; daughters Caroline Haanio-Wiget, Virginia Oros, Noreen Reid and Mary Brown; brother Benjamin; sister Lily Kong; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Kona Outdoor Circle in Kailua-Kona. Casual attire.
