Wilda Alquist Hodgins, 99, of Kailua-Kona, a homemaker and a former registered nurse, died at home. She was born in Thompson, Iowa. She is survived by son Aka, daughters Mary Helen Higgins and Hannah Hodgins, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at Christ Church Episcopal, Kealakekua. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Christ Church Episcopal or Kona Community Hospital Foundation.
