76Alice Wallace, 83, of Kailua- Kona, a retired candy maker at Kailua Candy Co. and retired cookie packer at Sunshine Biscuits in San Leandro, Calif., died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Cynthia Caravalho, brother Manuel Elizares Jr. and two grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
