Eleanor Yin Yit Pakele, 89, of Honolulu, a retired federal civil service employee, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Libert III and Cyr; daughters Eleanor Waiwaiole, Lillian Takenaka, Annette Watanabe, Irma Larson, Rachel Kruse and Cherie Moenoa; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
