THOMAS PAUL DUNN Thomas Paul Dunn passed away suddenly in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 12, 2015. He was 67 years old. Tom grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended college at the University of South Dakota and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. As a junior Tom transferred to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. from which he graduated. Tom then attended and graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1973. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Justice Francis and Eldred (Betty) Dunn. He is survived by his brother, David of Pierre, SD and two sisters: Rebecca Dunn of Sioux Falls, SD and Carol (John) Norbeck of Lakewood, WA. Tom will be especially missed by girlfriend, Barinna Poon and her daughter Karen Poon, his Godson Ian Scheuring all of Honolulu and Maria (Tribble) O'Donnell of VA. He also leaves a niece, Carrie Norbeck LaDoux, 2 nephews Judson and Joshua Dunn and other beloved grand nieces and nephews. Tom was past President of St. Andrews Cathedral Foundation and served for many years as usher. A memorial celebration of Thomas' life will be held at St. Andrews Cathedral on January 16, 2016 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Thomas Paul Dunn Scholarship Fund. Condolences may be emailed through www.borthwickoahu.com.
