MASAYOSHI "MASA" KAYA
84, of Honolulu, died November 13, 2010 at the Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Spreckelsville, Maui and was a retired golf pro and a member of the Hawaii Golf Hall of Fame.
He is survived by wife, Mollie; sons, Michael (Kathleen), Adrian (Betty) and Wayne Kaya; daughters, Janyce (Lance) Higa, Daralynne Kaya-Lau; brother, Patrick (Patsy) Kaya; sisters, Sally Inouye and Jane (Obon) Kurisu; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Visitation 11 a.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, with Celebration of Life at 12 p.m. Casual attire.
Inurnment 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
