BRUCE TAKEO MATSUSHITA Bruce Takeo Matsushita, 62, of Honolulu, a self-employed insurance broker, passed away at home on October 12, 2016. He was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where his parents had gone to college, and returned to Hawaii at age two. He was an avid golfer and a member and former president of Waialae Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Eden Joy; three siblings, Trudi (Dennis) Saito, Mark Matsushita, Susan (Jeffrey) Lum; and a niece and three nephews. A memorial service will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on Tuesday, November 1 at 6:00 p.m., preceded by visitation from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Burial will be the following day in a private service at the Diamond Head Memorial Park.
