Hiram H.S. Pang
Beloved husband and father, 78, of Mililani, passed away at Pali Momi Hospital on 3/22/17. A Farrington High School graduate, he was Student Body President. A Peng Hui Fraternity member at U.H. Manoa, graduating in Civil Engineering, he obtained his Professional Engineering License. He was an Air National Guard officer, honorably discharged. Working for the State, installed the water infrastructure on Molokai, then worked for the C&C of Honolulu, Build Depart. He worked for the Navy, Public Works as an Engineering Consultant. He was appointed Estate Manager, Small Industries, Center Project, in Nukualofa, Tonga, where he met and married his wife Amelia. He worked for State Highways Div., then finally the Fed Government, Pac Division, Naval Fac. Engineering Command, where he retired. Hiram is survived by wife Amelia Pang; daughter, Robyn Ponty; son, Jason Pang; grandchildren, Sean & Jasmine Ponty, Ashllynn Mello Pang, Kamana Shigehara Pang; brothers, Howard & Henry Pang; sister, Maybelle Pang. Services to be held on May 1 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, Visitation at 9:30am, Service at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 12:45pm.
