94, of Ewa Beach, passed away on March 21, 2017. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired Hawaiian Electric Company Kahe Power Plant control room supervisor. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was also a cancer survivor, avid golfer, and caregiver. He was a member of Headquarters Co., 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team. Preceded in death by wife, Toyo, he is survived by his sons, Randy (Beverly) and Robin Tanaka; daughters, Lei (Gabriel) Brady and Lani (Leslie) Abrigana; grandson, Dean Abrigana and sister, Thelma Hirano. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 11:00 a.m. Inurnment on April 26, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific- Punchbowl.
