Evelyn Nailima Padeken, 89, born July 18, 1927 and passed away on March 11, 2017 surrounded by family at her home in Ka'a'awa. Born in Honolulu; the youngest of 11; raised in Ka'a'awa. She worked at Dole Cannery in the 60's, then started working at Turtle Bay from 1974-1988. When she retired, she was the foundation of our family. We miss her love and guidance. She is survived by her daughter Fern (Archie) Ahuna; sons, Frederick (Rose), Mitchell (Leilani), and Thomas (Kerri); grandchildren, Mclaine, Nailima, Leah, Patricia, Yoko, Evalina, Noah, Tyra, and Shane; great grandchildren, Dominic, Alonzo, Kaeden, Brenden, Tristen, Liam, Novali, Lilybell, Isabel, Kawena, Nanea, Naia, Kirah, and Kaimana. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel in Waikane. Mass at 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow. Burial at 1 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
