Marylyn Aoe Lee Loy
75, of Kapalama, O'ahu passed away in Honolulu on Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born in Hilo, Hawai'i, the daughter of the late Samuel Kanu'uhiwalani and Marion McGregor Lee Loy. Marylyn attended the Kamehameha Schools and graduated Class of 1961, from Farrington High School. She worked at Liberty House, the Hawai'i State Senate's Sergeant of Arms and retired as a microphotographer for the State of Hawai'i Bureau of Conveyances. She was a docent for the Judiciary History Center, deaconess at Central Union Church and member of the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW), Honolulu Hawaiian Civic Club, YWCA Federation Club and the Democratic Party. She is survived by siblings Wilmer (Sharon) McGregor, Pilialoha Lee Loy and Samuel (Gale) Lee Loy; nieces Shelley (Douglas) Emery and Jennifer (Les Inamasu) Lee Loy; nephews Russell (Casey) McGregor and David Lee Loy. The Lee Loy and McGregor 'ohana celebrate and honor her as a loving sister, a steadfast niece, a nurturing aunt, a patient cousin, a dedicated co-worker, and a loyal friend. Me Ke Aloha.
