68, of Wahiawa, passed away in his sleep on May 21 2017. Born in Ewa, Hawaii on April 27 1949, he was a 1967 graduate of St. Louis High School in Honolulu. He had a long career in management with Oahu Sugar, Lihue Sugar Plantation on Kauai, Maui Pioneer Sugar in Lahaina, Del Monte Fresh Produce in Wahiawa, and retired from DuPont Pioneer Hawaii in Kunia. He was predeceased by father, Albert Ornellas. He is survived by his mother, Clara Chiyoko Ornellas, daughter April (Scott) Osaki , sons Matthew Ornellas and Jeremy Ornellas, and grandson Evan Osaki. He is also survived by brother Dean (Desiree) Ornellas, sister Debbie (Bobby) Chambrella, and numberous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family begins at 9:00am followed by a service at 10:00am on Thursday July 6th at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel.
