Koch, Russ
60, of Kaaawa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2017. The son of Donald Klutts and Clara Klutts, Russ was born on January 24, 1957 in St. Petersburg. Florida. He was a graduate of Seminole High School, served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and then attended and graduated from Southern University in Carbondale, Illinois earning a degree in mental health nursing. Shortly thereafter, he worked for the State of Hawaii Hospital in Kaneohe for 25 years. He had a love for his family, his dog Moki, and generally everything Hawaiian especially flowers. He is survived by his mother, Clara; brothers, Ricky, and John; sisters, Robin and Kathi; nephews, Larry, Matthew, Jess, and Cody; a great-niece and great-nephew, Kendall and Hunter, as well as other family members, co-workers and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Klutts. All are welcome to join a Celebration of Russ's Life on Saturday, July 15th from 1-3 pm at the Courtyard Marriott, 55-400 Kam. Hwy. Laie, Hawaii. Russ will always be missed and never forgotten.
