62, of Salem, Oregon passed away on July 6, 2017, in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He retired from the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General after 30 years. He was employed with the State of Oregon Office of Inspector General, Department of Corrections. He was survived by wife Marsha, parents Seiki and Elaine Shimabuku, daughter Courtney (Shaun) Matsuo, sons Kaliko (Melissa) and Joel (Shannon) Ah Yat, brother Karl (Cynthia) Shimabuku, sisters, Jan Tolentino and Jill Oishi, 4 grandchildren.
