HERBERT “BOZO”, “ABO” M. LEE
Herbert "Bozo", "Abo" M. Lee answered God's calling peacefully on June 7, 2017. He was 85 years old. He was born in Waimea, Kauai to Robert Ah Hoy Lee (deceased) and Elizabeth (Medeiros) Correa (deceased). He graduated from Waimea High School then attended Honolulu Technical School before being drafted into the U.S. Army as part of the Korean War. After serving his time, he started his career at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard where he retired 37 years later as a General Foreman. For the next five years he worked as a Quality Control Manager at Contract Management Company and finally at City Mill, Hawaii kai as a Sales Associate for 14 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years (Thelma), sons Herb Jr. (Wendy) Owen (Gabrielle) and daughter Dana Turner; brothers Robert (from Japan), George and sister Elizabeth Eguchi (Miami, Florida); six grand- children and six great grand- children. Services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 4470 Aliikoa Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96821. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by Rosary and Mass at 11 am to 12noon. Burial will be a Diamond Head Memorial Park at 2pm.
