Age 47, passed away peacefully at home on June 11th surrounded by her loving family. Robbin was born 1969 to Charles and Marjorie Serikawa. She graduated from Moanalua High School in 1987, University of Hawaii in 1991, then earned her Professional Diploma in Elementary Education. After teaching at multiple elementary schools, she became a Math Resource teacher at Leeward District Campbell/Kapolei Complex. She then became a Math Coach at Salt Lake Elem and, most recently, at Mauka Lani. She was an excellent cook; enjoyed traveling, going to movies, watching TV, and caring for her dogs. Her passion for dogs and for helping people led her to co-found Alpha K9 Hawaii OTC. It currently has active therapy service canines working at Oahu hospitals, care homes, and schools. Her other great passion was anything Disney. Robbin visited Disneyland and Disney World too many times to count. She was even able to see Tokyo Disney in 2015. She is survived by her parents Charles and Marjorie, brothers Alan (Gayle) and Kyle, nephews Bradson and Edwin, partner Parrish Manuel and his daughter Chardonnay; and her dog, Tubby. A private service celebrating her life was held on July 22nd at the Nu'uanu Mortuary. The family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone for their kind words, condolences, and prayers.
