97, of Las Vegas, NV passed into eternal life on June 2, 2017. He was born in New York City and was a 46 year resident of Oahu prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1991. Stan attended NYU, served in the Army from 1940-45 and was an Honorably Discharged World War II veteran. Upon his discharge in Hawaii, Stan was employed at the Naval Supply Center until 1962. During his residency on Oahu he met and married the love of his life, Patricia, he served on numerous Community Organizations and in several Federal programs. He was a candidate for District 1 Honolulu City Council in 1970, Business Manager for SHOPO (State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers) 1971-78, Business Manager for UPW and a member of the Teamsters. He worked on several movie productions and ended his career with the Magnum PI series in 1988. He moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1991 where he enjoyed his retirement golfing and traveling with his wife. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Burden and Martha Murraine and his sister, Florence Brooks. He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Burden of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Susan Miram of Waianae, HI and 3 grandchildren: Lynette Ioapo (Joe) of Chicago, IL, Normaline Kame (Avery) of Waianae, HI and Jade Hirano (Crystal) of Kauai, HI and several great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be conducted at Palisades Community Chapel-Assembly of God, 2360 Amoomoo St. Pearl City, HI 96782 on Sat. July 29th at 10:00am. A private Interment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) on July 31st., Stan and Pat's 52nd wedding anniversary.
