97, born on September 28, 1919, in Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on July 15, 2017 in Nuuanu Hale. She is predeceased by her husband Francis T. Kiyabu, Sr.; son Francis, Jr.; and grand- daughter, Kristin Herel. She is survived by daughters Katherine (Warren) Takagi and Elfrieda (James) Atkins; 4 grand- children and 9 great-grand- children.
