Robert Y. Ishimoto (Bob), Passed away peacefully 22 March 2017 in Honolulu. He was born 28 February 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a retired Senior Engineer at Hawaiian Telephone and a former Commander of the 322 Civil Affairs Brigade. He is survived by his wife, Diane Ishimoto; children Robert Ishimoto Jr., David Ishimoto, Joan Ishimoto, Patey Ishimoto Larsen, Gloria Ishimoto, Baron Oshiro and Stacie Shimabukuro; grand- children Nicolette Larsen, Jordan Shimabukuro and Star Shimabukuro. Colonel (Retired) Ishimoto's services will be held 24 April 2017, 9:30 A.M., at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl).
